Fittleworth

Great woodland walk of around 4 miles from J's book. Super pub lunch at the Swan Inn. Nice walled garden with shade and very dog friendly. Actually enjoyed the whole walk with no mishaps. Coffee stop on a fallen tree trunk in the woods. Summer hols coming up so adventures suspended till Sept.

Maplehurst Bus Stop for Coffee

Wow. Long time no post.

Yesterday J and I walked a marvellous Maplehurst/Cowfold route. 5.25 miles but as usual we got lost and had to ask a taxi driver for directions. It was an old book so we firmly believe the route has changed and that it wasn't our fault! Pi chased a couple of deer and Ted got himself trapped in a field requiring careful barbed wire manoeuvres. Coffee in the bus shelter in Maplehurst - very welcome. Good walk.
